The World Defense Show 2024 was the stage for the unveiling of the brand-new Otokar–Leonardo Tulpar Hitfact MK2, an international collaboration that began at the end of 2022, when the two companies agreed to create this platform.

The medium TULPAR tank is armed with the powerful 120mm turret from Italian Leonardo HITFACT Mk II.
The capabilities of the TULPAR platform/chassis/powertrain and the high firepower of the Leonardo HITFACT turret offer a highly competitive solution for land forces in need of fire support vehicles or medium-class combat tanks.
Besides its high firepower and destructive capabilities, with its high mobility, TULPAR can serve in all types of combat environments, from urban areas, built-up and light bridges to forests and all terrains, particularly soft surfaces where main battle tanks are unable to operate due to their weight.
An advantage of the Otokar Tulpar is the vehicle’s modular architecture, which allows for the installation of different types of engines from 700 hp to 1100 hp, the installation of rubber or metal tracks depending on the mission type, and the digital fire control system Armatronics “ensures smooth integration of new mission systems”.
